Strategic planning
Police Scotland and the Scottish Police Authority have a Joint Strategy for Policing. It is called Policing for a safe, protected and resilient Scotland and was agreed in April 2020.
It sets out the kind of police service we want to be and how that will make our service better for people in Scotland.
Other strategies explain how we will change things like buildings, cars and ways people can contact us.
Every year we publish an Annual Police Plan.
This explains what we will do over the year ahead.
