Every area of Scotland has a community policing team.
Your community team works with local partners to:
- listen to your concerns
- solve local problems
- prevent crime before it happens
- provide reassurance and support
- plan policing activities
You can talk to them about:
- issues affecting your neighbourhood
- non-emergencies
- local patrols
- crime prevention advice
- how we work with other local services
- support you can get after an incident
Get help for something else
For certain issues, other services could be more helpful:
- Parking, litter or noise: Contact your local council
- Health and mental health: Contact NHS24 or visit a local pharmacy
- Driving licences and tests: Contact Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA)
- Court services: Contact Scottish Courts and Tribunals
