Man arrested and charged following robbery, Irvine

Police Scotland can confirm that a man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery in the Thornouse Avenue area of Irvine around 10.30am on Monday, 10 February.

The 26-year-old man has also been reported for other incidents in the Irvine area and is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court today (Wednesday, 12 February).

Detective Constable Ross Keenan, from Saltcoats CID, said: “I would like to thank the public for their assistance while our investigation into these incidents was underway.”
