Woman, 64, dies after crash in Dunfermline
A 64-year-old woman has died following a crash on Robertson Road in Dunfermline.
The incident happened near the junction with Adamson Crescent shortly before 3pm on Wednesday, 21 January, 2026.
The woman was the driver of a blue Vauxhall Corsa which left the road and a struck a garden fence.
No other vehicles were involved.
Emergency services attended but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed to allow for an investigation and fully reopened around 7.25pm.
Sergeant Chris Anderson, of the Road Policing Unit in Glenrothes, said: “Our thoughts are with the woman who died in this incident.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any dashcam or private CCTV from the area to get in touch if you haven’t already spoken to us.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 1947 of 22 January.”
