Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with break-ins and thefts, after a series of ATMs were targeted across Scotland.

The men aged 23 and 27, were arrested in England on Monday, 12 January, 2026.

The break-ins and thefts took place in Whitburn Road in Bathgate and Burnbank Road in Falkirk on Tuesday, 7 October, 2025. They are also charged with attempting to break into an ATM in Newtown St Boswells on the same day.

They are due to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 14 January, 2026.

The 27-year-old man was also arrested in connection with a warrant, and charged in connection with ATM thefts on Kirkintilloch Road, Lenzie on Saturday, 28 June, 2025, on Perth Road, Scone on Sunday, 29 June, 2025, and on Main Street in Bridge on Weir on Monday, 18 August, 2025.

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 15 January, 2026.
