Two men arrested and charged after a cannabis cultivation was found in Broxburn

Two men have been arrested and charged after cannabis with an estimated street value of up to £780,000 was recovered in Broxburn. 

Around 10.10am on Tuesday, 6 January, 2026, officers on routine patrol discovered a cultivation containing around 1,300 plants at a premises on the Albyn Industrial Estate. 

The men, both aged 33, were due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 7 January.

Detective Inspector John Irvine said: "Drugs cause nothing but misery in our communities and we are dedicated to disrupting the activities of those involved in their supply. 

“Recoveries such as this are an important part of our work to address drug-related crime in our communities.
