Missing Person appeal - Michael Watson, West Dunbartonshire

Officers are appealing to the public to help trace 57-year-old Michael Watson who has been reported missing in West Dunbartonshire.

He was last seen in the Craig Avenue area of Alexandria around 12.50pm on Friday 23 January.

Michael, pictured below, is described as around 5ft 5ins tall, with short grey hair. He wears glasses, has a walking stick, and was wearing a medical support boot on his left foot.

He was last thought to be wearing a green and white striped polo shirt, dark trousers, and may have a black jumper with him as well.

Inspector Kirsty Moore said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Michael’s welfare as this behaviour is out of character for him.

“Anyone who’s seen Michael, or knows where he is, is asked to please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1536 of Friday, 23 January, 2026.”
