Man who died in Inverness named

A man who died after being found injured in Inverness can now be named as 42-year-old Arturs Juskins.

Around 8.25am on Friday, 9 January, 2026, we received a report of three men having been injured outside a property on Balloan Road.

One of the men, Arturs, was pronounced dead upon arrival at hospital.

His family has released the following statement via Police Scotland: “Arturs was a much-loved son, father and partner who will be greatly missed.”

The two other men, aged 21 and 38, were arrested and charged in connection with the death and appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday, 12 and Tuesday, 13 January, 2026 respectively.
