Appeal to trace missing Inchture man William Jackson

Police in Tayside are appealing for information to help trace 77-year-old William Jackson, who has been reported missing from Inchture.

William was last seen in the Meadowview Drive area, around 7pm on Wednesday, 21 January, 2026.

He is described as being white, around 5ft 8 and medium build, with grey balding hair and a greying beard. He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a navy top and jeans, a heavy jacket and flat cap.

Inspector Gordon Jamieson said: “It is very out of character for William to be out of contact from family and friends for this long, and there are growing concerns for his welfare.

“We ask anyone with any information on his whereabouts to urgently contact police on 101, quoting incident 2501 of 22 January, 2026.”
