Appeal to trace John Prentice reported missing from Balintore

Officers are appealing for the public’s help to trace 67-year-old John Prentice who has been reported missing from Balintore.

John was last seen around 1.30pm on Sunday, 18 January, 2026, in the Rannoch Place area.

He is described as being white, around 5ft 3in tall, of large build, with greying hair. He was last seen wearing a mustard-coloured t-shirt, navy jogging bottoms and blue trainers.

John is believed to be driving a grey Mazda CX5, registration SY75 CUC.

Sergeant Hilary Simpson said: “Concerns for John are growing and we are keen to trace him as soon as possible.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have seen him, or has any information on where he may be, to contact us.”
