Appeal for information after housebreakings and attempted break-in in West Lothian
Detectives in West Lothian are appealing for information following housebreakings and an attempted break-in.
The incidents happened between 6.45pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday, 14 January, 2026.
Four homes were targeted by thieves, one in Johnstone Avenue, Uphall, two in Pumperston Road, Uphall Station and another in West Bonnington Drive, Wilkieston.
A white Audi A4 saloon which was seen in the vicinity of all four residential properties around the time.
Detective Inspector John Irvine said: “We are carrying out extensive enquiries, including reviewing CCTV and carrying out door to door enquiries.
“We would like to speak to anyone who saw the white Audi A4 saloon driving or parked in the residential streets around the times of these incidents to get in touch.
“If you have doorbell footage or dash-cam please come forward, you may have captured something that can assist our enquiries.”
