Appeal following serious crash in Aberdeen

Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash in Aberdeen.

Around 6pm on Tuesday, 13 January, 2026, we received a report of a crash involving a black and red electric motorcycle on Tillydrone Road.

Emergency services attended and the teenage male rider was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment to what were described as serious injuries.

The road was closed to allow for enquiries to be carried out and re-opened around 11pm.

Sergeant Sarah Ritchie from the North East Road Policing Unit said: “Our enquiries are at a very early stage and I believe the area was busy with other road users at the time who will have witnessed the crash.

“I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have any information about the crash or dashcam footage to come forward.”
