Appeal following housebreaking in Drumnadrochit

Officers are appealing for information following a housebreaking in the Polmaily area near Drumnadrochit. 

The incident is believed to have happened between Monday, 22 December, 2025, and Tuesday, 13 January, 2026, when two lodges under construction were broken into. A quantity of tiles, building materials and tools were also stolen from the site. 

Detective Constable David MacKenzie said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area during this time, or who may have information that could assist with our enquiries. 

“We would also ask anyone who may have been offered similar items for sale, or who has dash-cam or private CCTV footage, to get in touch.”
