Appeal following crash on the A82 at Bridge of Oich

Officers are appealing for information following a crash on the A82 Bridge of Oich.

The crash involving a black Volkswagen Golf and a pedestrian happened around 2.30pm on Sunday, 4 January, 2026.

Emergency services attended and the 44-year-old female pedestrian was taken by air ambulance to Raigmore Hospital for treatment to what are described as serious injuries.

The road was closed to allow for enquiries to be carried out and re-opened around 8.30pm on Sunday, 4 January, 2026.

Sergeant Chris Donaldson said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened and haven’t already spoken to officers.

“If you were driving in the area at the time, please also check any dash-cam footage you have and get in touch if you have captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
