Appeal following crash on the A814 near Cardross

Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a crash on A814, near to Cardross Crematorium.

The crash, involving a van and a female cyclist, happened around 7.50am on Tuesday, 13 January, 2026.

The van left the scene prior to police arrival.

The female cyclist was taken to Vale of Leven Hospital for treatment.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and trace the vehicle involved.

Sergeant Fraser McEwan said: “I would appeal for anyone who witnessed the crash and hasn’t already spoken to officers to contact us.

“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area around the time and who may have dash cam footage that could assist to get in touch.”
