17-year-old male arrested in connection with 10 wilful fires in Fife

A 17-year-old male has been arrested in connection with a number of wilful fire-raisings that took place in the Dysart and Kirkcaldy areas between Tuesday, 4 November, 2025 and Sunday, 4 January, 2026.

He has been charged in connection with setting three fires in Dysart and setting seven fires in Kirkcaldy. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
