Update following death of woman in Irvine

Around 6.15am on Tuesday, 30 September, 2025, we were called to a report of a death in the Pladda Avenue area of Irvine.

Emergency services attended and a 76-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family are aware.

The death is not believed to be suspicious and enquires are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
