Two people arrested and charged following drugs recovery in Dumfries
A 25-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman have been arrested and charged following a drugs recovery in Dumfries.
On Saturday, 27 September, 2025, officers attended an address on Glasgow Street. A quantity of cocaine, with an estimated street value of £4,200, and a four-figure sum of cash were recovered.
The man and woman were released on an undertaking to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court at a later date.
Detective Inspector Scott Wilson said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are committed to removing them from our streets.
“This seizure underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country's Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
