Three men have been convicted after a cannabis cultivation was found in Motherwell
Hoan Cong Vuong , 51 Nguyen Tien Dung, 39 and Van Tuaw Nguyen, 30 were found guilty at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday, 12 September, 2025.
A cannabis cultivation worth £120,000 was discovered at Talisman Crescent on Friday, 6 September, 2024.
Inspector Jim McLuskey said: “Cannabis cultivations can be linked to organised crime, violence and exploitation. We hope this outcome reassures the public that we will continue to pursue those who profit from drugs at the expense of our communities.
“It highlights our continued commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
“Information from the public is absolutely vital to our work and we would continue to urge people to look out for the usual signs of cannabis cultivations and report any concerns to us.”
