Herbal cannabis seized by officers in Beith
Two men have been arrested following a proactive operation in Beith.
Around 2pm on Wednesday, 10 September, 2025, officers stopped and searched a man in Townhead, Beith and recovered around 10kg of herbal cannabis. The drugs have a potential street value of around £65,000.
Following further enquiries, two men, aged 20 and 59 were arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences. They were due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Thursday, 11 September, 2025.
