Appeal for information following King Street, Dundee assault
Detectives are appealing for information following an assault which happened in King Street, Dundee.
Two men, aged 63 and 70, were at the top of a stairwell leading to Cowgate around 1.10am on Saturday, 6 September, 2025, when they were assaulted.
One of the men attended Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
The suspect is described as being around 45-years-old, 5ft 8in tall, of average build, with short brown and grey hair. He was wearing a grey long-sleeved top.
He took off in the direction of East Marketgait, running into the tunnel towards the Ladywell roundabout.
Detective Sergeant Ryan Thompson said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have been in and around King Street, Dundee at the time to please come forward.
“We are carrying out a review of CCTV footage to identify the suspect.
“I would ask motorists with dash-cams to review the footage, in case they have captured something that can assist our enquiries.”
