Appeal for information following assault at Maggie's Wood in Dingwall
Officers are appealing for information following an assault which happened in the area of Maggie’s Wood, Dingwall.
The victim, a 24-year-old man was walking between Millbank Road and West Drive around 5pm on Friday, 5 September, when he was assaulted.
He was taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.
The suspect is described as being of Asian appearance, aged between 20 and 30, around 5ft 10”, of medium build, with a black faded haircut and clean shaven.
He was wearing a navy-blue t-shirt, a black jumper wrapped around his waist, black jeans and black trainers.
He fled in the direction of Millbank Road.
Police Constable Dan McArthur said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have been in and around Maggie’s Woods at the time to please come forward.
“I would ask residents to review any home security footage they have, and ask motorists with dashcams to review their recordings, in case they have captured something that can assist our enquiries.
