Appeal following serious crash with pedestrian in Arbroath

Road Policing officers are appealing for information and witnesses following a crash involving a blue Volkswagen Polo car and a 12-year-old male pedestrian in Arbroath.

The incident happened on Lochlands Street, around 1.35pm on Wednesday, 10 September, 2025.

The boy was taken to hospital and treated for serious injuries. The driver of the car was uninjured.

Sergeant Mike Guild said: “Enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the crash and we are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

“If you believe you can assist our enquiries, please call police on 101, quoting incident number 1754 of 10 September.”
