Youths arrested and charged in connection with disturbance at Upperkirkgate, Aberdeen
Four male youths have been arrested and charged, and one charged, following a disturbance in the Upperkirkgate area of Aberdeen.
Officers were called to the Upperkirkgate area around 7pm on Thursday, 16 October, 2025, after we received a report of two males being seriously assaulted and a third male being assaulted.
A vehicle was also vandalised, and property was stolen from one of the victims.
One male youth and a 29-year-old man were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Two male youths aged 16, a male youth aged 15 and a 14-year old male youth have been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault. A male-youth has also been charged in connection.
All five will be reported to the relevant authorities.
Police Constable Crawford, of the Community Action Team, said: “The violence and disorder that occurred during this incident was completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
“Anyone engaging in violence within the City Centre will be dealt with robustly, charged and reported to the relevant authorities.
“In addition, anyone congregating in large groups and causing deliberate intimidating or encouraging violence will find themselves the subject of police attention.
“The impact of violence can be long lasting for victims, and we are continuing to support those involved in this incident.”
