Woman arrested and charged in connection with drugs recovery in Buckie
A woman has been arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences following a recovery in Buckie.
Around 10am on Sunday, 5 October, 2025, officers acting under warrant attended a property on Crown Street in the Portgordon area.
A quantity of heroin and cannabis, with a collective estimated street value of £11,000, was recovered within. A four-figure sum of cash was also recovered.
A 48-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection and was due to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court on Monday, 6 October, 2025.
Detective Constable Abbey Emmett said: "This recovery continues to highlight our commitment to disrupting drug-related crime in our community.
"It also reflects our ongoing work in support of the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country's Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
