Two men arrested and charged after vehicle fire in Peterhead

Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with a vehicle fire in Peterhead. 

Around 1.15am on Tuesday, 2 September, 2025, we received a report of a car on fire in the car park of a prison in Peterhead. 

The two men, aged 29 and 34, are due to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 28 October, 2025. 

Detective Sergeant Steven Young said: “We’d like to thank the public for their assistance during this investigation.”
