Ten people arrested and charged in connection with domestic abuse offences in Aberdeen
Officers in Aberdeen have arrested and charged ten people in connection with domestic abuse offences.
The five-day operation was carried out by the Community Action Team between Monday, 6 October and Friday, 10 October, 2025.
Those arrested include two women and eight men who will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal and will appear at court at a later date.
Inspector Lisa Kerr said: “Domestic abuse will not be tolerated in our communities. We are committed to supporting victims and ensuring those responsible for such offences are held accountable.
“Domestic abuse too often happens behind closed doors. The emotional and psychological harm caused can be traumatic with consequences that extend beyond the victim to children and other family members.
“We continue to work closely with our partners and encourage anyone affected by domestic abuse to come forward and see help.”
Anyone wishing to report concerns about domestic abuse should contact Police Scotland on 101 or in an emergency 999.
