Six people have been arrested following an operation targeting drugs in Greenock.
Around 8am on Wednesday, 22 October, 2025, officers from Inverclyde's Priority Policing Team executed a warrant at a property in Prospecthill Court. A quantity of cocaine and more than £1,000 in cash were recovered. The drugs have an estimated street value of more than £3,500.
Two men, aged 38, and one man, aged 45, were arrested and charged in connection with the seizure. Two women, aged 37 and 49, were also arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences. They are all due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Thursday, 23 October, 2025.
A further man, aged 32, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Sergeant Gary Arthur said: "This operation sends a clear message that we will not tolerate illegal drugs in our communities. We are determined to protect the public from this harmful criminality by disrupting the sale of illegal substances, preventing them being circulated on our streets and addressing the concerns of local people.
"It also underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country's Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
