Serious assault - Inverkip Street, Greenock
Detectives are appealing for information after two men were seriously assaulted during a disturbance in The Green Oak Pub, Inverkip Street, Greenock.
The incident, which spilled out into the street, happened around 11.40pm on Saturday, 25 October 2025, and involved a number of men and women.
The two injured men were taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital where they were treated and have since been discharged.
Detective Constable Hannah Clark, Greenock CID, said: “It’s possible that others may have been injured in the disturbance. We would encourage them to come forward.
“We are asking anyone who saw the disturbance, or knows who was involved, to get in touch. Please also check any private-CCTV or video footage from around 11.40pm on Saturday night in case anything was captured that might help our investigation.”
Two men, aged 37 and 33, have been arrested in connection with the disturbance. Enquiries are continuing.
