Man arrested in connection with serious assault in Edinburgh

A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault which happened on Clerk Street, Edinburgh on Tuesday, 12 August, 2025.

One man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.

The 40-year-old man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 7 October, 2025.
