Man arrested and charged in connection with serious assault in Granton Road, Edinburgh

A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault and robbery in Edinburgh.

The incident took place around 1.35pm on Tuesday, 14 October, 2025 in Granton Place.

The 20-year-old male victim was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and he is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday, 16 October, 2025.
