Appeal for information following assault in Annan

Detectives are appealing for information following the assault of a woman in Annan.

The incident happened around 9.55pm on Wednesday, 15 October, 2025, on Fernlea Crescent.

The 43-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Detective Sergeant Allister Queen said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 3501 of Wednesday, 15 October, 2025. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
