Appeal following wilful vehicle fire in Dumbarton

Detectives are appealing for information following a wilful vehicle fire in Dumbarton.

Around 10.05pm on Friday, 24 October, 2025, a silver Ford Focus was set on fire on Park Crescent.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the fire to contact police.

We’d ask anyone with private CCTV to check their footage on that day, especially between 10pm and 10.10pm, to see if anything has been captured.
