Appeal following robbery on Main Street, Livingston

Police Scotland has released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist an enquiry into a robbery of a woman in Livingston, which took around 8.40am on Monday, 1 September, 2025, at Main Street, Deans, Livingston, West Lothian.

The male is described as white, aged late teens to early 20s, short, slim build. He was wearing a light Under Armour jacket, dark trouser and trainers.

Detective Constable Steven Smith, of Livingston CID, said: “I would encourage the male or anyone who may recognise him to get in touch.

“If you have any information that can assist with our investigation then please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number Incident 0682 of 1 September 2025.

“Alternatively, make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
