Appeal following robbery in Clydebank
Officers are appealing for information following a robbery in the Whitecrook area of Clydebank.
The incident happened around 1am on Wednesday, 15 October, when a man was threatened on Barns Street at the junction with North Elgin Street by another man who demanded cash.
A small sum was handed over and the suspect left in the direction of Glasgow Road.
He is described as white, around 5ft 9ins, aged late 30s, with dark facial stubble and of slim build. He was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up and dark-coloured jeans or tracksuit bottoms.
Detective Constable Colin Nichol said: “Fortunately no one was injured but the man was left upset by what happened.
“Our enquiries are ongoing to trace the man responsible and we are asking anyone who saw anything to get in touch.
“Please check any private CCTV you have and dash-cam if you were driving in the area and contact us if you can assist with our investigation.”
