Appeal following crash in Barrhead

Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a one-vehicle crash on Lochlibo Road, Barrhead.

The incident happened around 7.30pm on Saturday, 11 October, 2025, and involved a grey Vauxhall Astra car.

Emergency services attended and two men, aged 47, and a woman aged 36 were taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver, a 47-year-old man, has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.

Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “Enquiries are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to get in touch with us.

“We would ask that anyone driving in the area at the time with dash-cam footage review this to see if it captured anything that could assist with our investigation.

“Anyone with information is asked to come forward, contacting Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3394 of 11 October, 2025.”
