Appeal following attempted robbery in Glasgow
Officers are appealing for information following an attempted robbery on Anniesland Road in Glasgow.
The incident happened around 7pm on Wednesday, 8 October, when a 57-year-old woman was approached at an ATM by a man who threatened her and demanded money.
When she refused the man made off. He appeared to walk with a limp. The woman was not injured.
The suspect is described as white, aged in his 30s or 40s and of heavy build. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, grey trainers and a dark beanie hat.
Constable Will Dorrian said: “Thankfully the woman was not injured but she was left shaken by what happened.
“Enquiries are ongoing to trace the man and we are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to get in touch.
“Also, if you know the man or where he went then please also make contact as your information could help with our investigation.”
