Appeal following attempted break-in in Carluke
Officers are appealing for information following an attempted housebreaking at a property on Pillans Avenue, Carluke.
The incident happened around 2am on Tuesday, 7 October, 2025 when four males, all dressed in black, were seen exiting the garden of the property.
There was damage to the property, but nothing was stolen.
Sergeant Stewart McDonald said: “Although entry was not gained, damage was caused to the property, and we are working to trace those responsible.
"We encourage anyone who noticed anything suspicious, including any vehicles nearby, to get in touch.
"I would also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage to review it, as it could provide crucial information for our investigation."
