Appeal after car driven at police vehicle in Glasgow
Officers are appealing for information after a car was driven at a police vehicle in Glasgow.
Around 5.40pm on Saturday, 18 October, 2025, we were made aware of a car driving dangerously on Provan Road, Glasgow.
Officers attended and the silver Peugeot 207 was driven at them on Cumbernauld Road. There were no reports of any injuries.
A short pursuit took place and the car came to a stop on Birkenshaw Street after crashing.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 20 October, 2025.
Constable Rose Richmond said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn’t already spoken to officers to contact us.
“The area was busy at the time and I would also ask anyone who has mobile phone footage or dash cam footage which could assist to get in touch.”
