Pedestrian dies following crash in car park in Fraserburgh

A woman has died following a crash in a car park near Albert Street in Fraserburgh that happened on Thursday, 30 October, 2025.

The incident happened around 12pm and involved the 86-year-old woman and a white Mercedes Sprinter van.

She was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and died on Sunday, 2 November.

She can be named as Kathleen Reid. Her family has asked for privacy.

Sergeant Dave Cooper said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the woman who has died and they have asked for privacy at what is a very difficult time for them.

“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. We are asking anyone who can assist with our investigation who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch.
