Cash and fireworks recovered from property in North Lanarkshire
On Tuesday, 4 November, 2025, officers acting on warrant searched a property on Scarhill Street, Cleland and seized a four-figure sum of cash.
A large quantity of fireworks worth around £25,000 were also recovered at the address.
A 33-year-old man has been charged in relation to the seizure and will be subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
Sergeant Steven Brown said: “Anyone found selling or using fireworks illegally may face fines, seizure of items and potential prosecution.
"The misuse of fireworks is extremely dangerous can result in serious injury, fires and damage to properties."
