Officers continuing to appeal for information on missing John Miller two weeks after he was last seen


Over two weeks after he was last seen, officers are continuing to appeal for information on the whereabouts of John Miller.
The 48-year-old was last seen in the Millcroft Road area of Cumbernauld around 5pm on Monday, 10 November, 2025.
A dedicated team of officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries in the area, including reviewing hundreds of hours of CCTV and visiting over 1800 addresses as part of their door-to-door enquiries.
John is described as white, of medium build, 5ft 6ins, with brown hair, brown eyes and has tattoos including the name ‘Karen’ on his arm. When last seen, he was wearing a blue tracksuit and grey trainers.
John also has links to the east end of Glasgow, Falkirk and is known to fish in the Lochearnhead area. He may have travelled to these locations.
Inspector Billy Sloan said: “Two weeks on, there have been no new confirmed sightings of John, but we are doing all we can to find him.
“We are extremely concerned for John, and we want to ensure that he is safe and well.
"I am continuing to ask if anyone has seen John or someone matching his description, please contact police.
"Anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage from around the area where he was last seen, please check to see if you have captured anything of relevance which may assist.
“We continue to urge the public to come forward with any information they may have. No matter how small it may seem, it may be key to helping us find John.”
