Members of the public asked to check sheds and outbuildings as searches continue for John Miller in Cumbernauld


Officers are asking members of the public to check outbuildings and sheds as searches continue for a missing man in Cumbernauld.
John Miller, 48, was last seen in the Millcroft Road area of the town around 5pm on Monday, 10 November, 2025.
He is described as white, of medium build, 5ft 6ins, with brown hair, brown eyes and has tattoos including the name ‘Karen’ on his arm.
When last seen, John was wearing a blue tracksuit and grey trainers.
John also has links to the east end of Glasgow, Falkirk and is known to fish in the Lochearnhead area. He may have travelled to these locations.
Chief Inspector Gareth Brown said: “With the recent drop in temperature, I am asking anyone in the area near Millcroft Road to check any sheds our outbuildings in case John may have sought shelter.
“As time passes, we are growing increasingly concerned for John and want to ensure he is safe and well.
"I am continuing to ask if anyone has seen someone matching John's description or has information on his whereabouts, please contact police.
"Anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage from around the area of Cumbernauld where he was last seen, please check to see if you have captured anything of relevance which may assist."
