Man arrested in connection with assault in Elgin released pending further enquiries

A 28-year-old man arrested in connection with a serious assault in Elgin has been released pending further enquiries.

Around 3.15pm on Friday, 14 November, 2025, we received a report of a disturbance in the Harrow Inn Close area. Emergency services attended and a 55-year-old man was taken to hospital.

Medical staff describe his condition as stable.

The investigation remains ongoing.
