Man arrested following serious assault in Newburgh charged

A 42-year-old man arrested following a serious assault in Newburgh has been charged in connection with attempted murder.

Around 7.20am on Wednesday, 5 November, 2025, officers were called to High Street following a report of a man having been injured. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

The 42-year-old man is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday, 6 November, 2025.
