Appeal after theft of high value alcohol from Shotts, Lanarkshire
Detectives in Lanarkshire are appealing for information following a theft of alcohol valued at £90,000.
Around 2.50am on Sunday, 9 November, 2025, a trailer parked within a secure premises in High Street, Shotts, was stolen. The trailer contained high value whisky and liqueurs.
Detective Constable Christine McLanachan said: "We're appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident or with any information to get in touch.
'I'd also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage to check it in case it has captured anything that could assist our enquiries."
