Appeal for information after men sprayed with unknown liquid in Duntocher
Detectives are appealing for information after two men were assaulted in Clydebank.
Around 4pm on Thursday, 27 November, 2025, the men, aged 45 and 56, were within a property on Carleith Avenue in the Duntocher area, when a man attended and sprayed an unknown liquid on them.
The men did not require medical treatment.
The suspect is described as white, around 6ft tall and spoke with a local accent. He was wearing all black clothing with his face covered. He made off in a silver coloured vehicle in the direction of Beeches Road.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and officers are reviewing CCTV from the area.
Detective Constable Nic Neeson said: “It’s vital we find the person responsible for this reckless act and I’m appealing to the public for help in doing so.
“If you were in the Carleith Avenue or Beeches Road area around 4pm yesterday and saw a man or vehicle matching the description, please contact us. I’d also like to ask anyone with private CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage to review this and bring anything you think is significant to our attention.”
