Appeal following serious A92 Cowdenbeath crash
Road Policing officers are appealing for information and witnesses following a one-vehicle crash on the A92 near the Cowdenbeath junction.
The incident involved a red Audi R8 and took place around 12.15pm on Saturday, 8 November, 2025.
The 41-year-old male driver was conveyed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries, whilst the 11-year-old female passenger was treated for minor injuries at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.
The road was closed for around seven hours to allow for recovery and investigation.
Sergeant Tom Aitken, from the Glenrothes Road Policing Unit, said: “Extensive enquiries into this incident are ongoing.
“We know that a number of people stopped at the scene after the car left the road, so would ask anyone that hasn’t spoken to police, or who saw the Audi prior to the crash, to please come forward.”
