Appeal following robbery in Bathgate
Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Bathgate.
Around 11.30am on Sunday, 9 November, 2025, a 17-year-old man was walking on Marjoribanks Street at the junction with Academy Street when he was approached by two men who threatened him before taking a two-figure sum of cash.
The first suspect is described as being around 6ft tall, of slim build, wearing a black face covering, a black hooded jumper, black gloves, black tracksuit trousers and Nike 95s trainers.
The second suspect is described as wearing a black face covering, a black hooded jumper and grey tracksuit trousers.
Detective Constable Matthew Morran said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn't already spoke to officers to get in touch. Additionally, if you have information which could assist our enquiries please make contact with police.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time and who may have dash cam or private CCTV footage to get in touch.”
