Appeal following housebreaking in Wemyss Bay
Officers in Inverclyde are appealing for information following a theft by housebreaking in Wemyss Bay.
Around 6.15pm on Thursday, 6 November, 2025, two men forced entry to a property on Kishorn Road and stole a four-figure sum of cash.
Detective Rachel McElwee said: "We're appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident or with any information to get in touch.
'I'd also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage to check it in case it has captured anything that could assist our enquiries."
